Itinerary

This 7-day overland expedition perfectly balances the wild floodplains of Assam with the majestic hills of Meghalaya. Arriving in Guwahati, you immediately head to Kaziranga for an unforgettable wildlife safari. The journey then ascends to Shillong, the "Scotland of the East," before taking you to Cherrapunjee, renowned for its waterfalls and limestone caves. You will explore Asia's cleanest village at Mawlynnong and witness the magical, crystal-clear Umngot River in Dawki. The tour concludes as you descend back to the Brahmaputra valley for a cultural and spiritual finale in Guwahati, capturing the true essence of Northeast India.

  • Service of an experienced driver cum guide for 10 hours per day up to maximum 08.00 PM.
  • Vehicle AC is not allowed during the journey towards the hills.
  • Vehicle AC is not allowed during standby mode.
  • Vehicle costing will be charged extra if hotels are beyond the area of Kaziranga National Park i.e if it’s somewhere near Jakhalabandha, Bokakhat etc.
  • As per Assam-Meghalaya norms, it’s strictly prohibited to use any alcoholic items, tobacco items etc inside the Vehicle as well as in public places.
  • Don’t litter the vehicle, maintain the cleanliness.
  • If the duration of days decreases in the middle of the trip then the rent of the vehicle will be increased by Rs. 500/- per day on overall total days.
