Starting from Demo Airport Start, you will spend your initial days exploring the historical and cultural landmarks of Imphal. The route then takes you south to the incredible floating islands of Loktak Lake and the historic town of Moirang. Ascend into the eastern hills for a two-day immersion in Ukhrul, the cultural heartland of the Tangkhul Nagas. The expedition concludes with a thrilling day trip to the vibrant border town of Moreh before your final departure from Demo Airport Finish.

Pack a highly versatile wardrobe prepared for shifting elevations and climates. Bring lightweight, breathable cotton clothing for the Imphal valley and Moreh, but ensure you pack warm sweaters, a fleece, and a windproof jacket for Ukhrul, where temperatures can drop significantly, especially in the early mornings and evenings. Sturdy, waterproof trekking shoes with excellent grip are mandatory if you plan to hike the Shirui Peak or explore the damp Khangkhui limestone caves. Bring essential sun protection, strong mosquito/insect repellent (critical for Loktak Lake and Keibul Lamjao), a basic first-aid kit, and personal medications (including motion sickness tablets for the winding mountain roads). The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR); carrying a significant amount of cash in small denominations is absolutely critical for buying local handicrafts, paying for boat rides at Loktak, or shopping at the Moreh border market, as digital payments are often unreliable outside Imphal.
