  • The mandatory flight from Imphal to Guwahati must be booked for the morning of Day 3 to ensure sufficient travel time to Shillong.
  • Kaziranga National Park remains closed for safaris from May 1st to October 31st every year due to monsoons.
  • Kamakhya Temple involves significant waiting times; VIP darshan passes (subject to availability) are highly recommended.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is strictly 12:00 noon.

Description:
Pack layered clothing, as Shillong and Cherrapunji can be chilly, while Guwahati and Kaziranga are relatively warmer. Bring comfortable, sturdy walking shoes, a light raincoat or umbrella for Meghalaya, and insect repellent for the wildlife safari. Carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport or Voter ID) and passport-size photos for Inner Line Permits in Manipur. The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR), and carrying sufficient cash is advised since ATMs can be scarce in remote areas. This trip requires a moderate fitness level.
