  • Kamakhya Temple experiences heavy pilgrim rush; VIP darshan passes are subject to temple trust availability.
  • Water clarity in Dawki is best from October to April and may vary during periods of rain.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is strictly 12:00 noon.

Pack layered clothing, as Shillong and Cherrapunji can be cool, while Guwahati and Kaziranga are warmer. Bring sturdy walking shoes with good grip for exploring wet caves and root bridges, plus an umbrella or light raincoat for sudden showers. Insect repellent is recommended for the safari. The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR); carrying cash is advisable for rural stops and boating at Dawki. A moderate level of physical fitness is required for cave visits and light walking trails.
