India is a diversified country with different culture, Religion and languages. It has varieties of ethnicity and races mainly The Turk-Iranian, Indo-Aryan, Scytho-Dravidian, Aryo-Dravidian, The Mongol-Dravidians, The Mongoloid, The Dravidian, The Negrito, The Nordics and The proto-australoids are few of them. So many human races you can not find anywhere in the world and they have mingled and mixed up for long time and we have experienced Unity in diversity. We have beautiful traditions, starting from food, cloths, deities and their rituals has created numbers of Festivals round the year. Bengalis have main festival “Durga Puja”, Marathis have “Ganesh Chaturthi”, North India parts for Navratri, Dushera and Dewali, South India celebrates Onam and Pongal. We have some exotic festivals in North East India specially “Hornbill festival” in Nagaland, Cherry blossom festival in Meghalaya, Bihu in Assam and Anthurium Festival in Mizoram. Like this every state has their own traditional festivals and activities which makes enormous number of people to travel and visit the place. Khajuraho and Konarak dance festivals in MP and Orissa has attracting large number of tourists from outside India. Festivals like “Kite festival ” in Gujarat and “Bird festival” in Uttarakhand are also become trends in tourism sector. Beside these there are “International Book Fair”, “International Film Festivals” “Travel and Tourism Fair” also became new attractions.
