Essential trip
information!
Pack a highly versatile wardrobe suitable for varying elevations: lightweight cotton clothing for daytime in Delhi, and warm sweaters, light jackets, or shawls for Nainital, as the mornings and evenings remain cool year-round (heavy woolens are essential from November to March). Sturdy, comfortable slip-on walking shoes are highly recommended for nature walks, navigating the Eco Cave Gardens, and temple visits. Bring essential sun protection, sunglasses, binoculars for birdwatching around Sattal, and personal medications (including motion sickness tablets for the winding mountain roads). The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR); carrying cash is necessary for local markets, street food vendors, and entry tickets.
