Itinerary

Upon landing at the spectacular Paro Airport, you will immediately drive to the capital city, Thimphu, to explore its giant Buddha statue and grand fortresses. The second day transitions back to the historic valley of Paro for local sightseeing. Important Notes Description:

• Indian nationals do not require a visa but MUST carry a valid Passport (with minimum 6 months validity) or an original Voter ID card to obtain the entry permit.
• The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) is mandatory and must be paid directly during the permit processing or booked in advance.
• The Tiger’s Nest hike is physically demanding (steep uphill climb at an altitude of over 10,000 feet); ponies are available for hire for the first half of the ascent, but the final descent and stairs must be completed on foot.
• Bhutan has strict no-smoking laws; smoking in public places is entirely prohibited, and bringing tobacco into the country attracts heavy duties.
• Modest attire is strictly enforced when visiting Dzongs and Monasteries: full-length trousers and long-sleeved shirts/jackets are mandatory for both men and women.
