The English name ‘Bhutan’ probably derives from the Sanskrit “bhotanta” meaning ‘extremity of Tibet’. Bhutan has been identified as one of the 10 bio-diversity hot spots. It is a paradise with fascinating natural beauty and the most peaceful , crime free country. Beggars and homeless hardly exist in Bhutan. Itinerary

This 6-day overland photography expedition allows you to acclimatize gently while capturing the changing landscapes from the foothills to the high valleys. Starting from Phuentsholing, you secure your permits and transition into the peaceful Bhutanese way of life. The route winds up to Thimphu for immersive cultural and architectural photography, followed by a short drive to the historic Paro valley. Day four is reserved exclusively for the trek up to Tiger's Nest, ensuring ample time for resting and photographing the monastery from various viewpoints. The journey concludes with a scenic descent back to the border for your onward departure from Hashimara.
