Itinerary

This 5-day itinerary focuses heavily on maximizing your wildlife viewing opportunities in Nepal's most famous national park. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will immediately drive down from the hills to the flat, subtropical lowlands of Chitwan. Days two and three are entirely dedicated to exploring the deep jungle via jeep safaris, nature walks, and serene canoe rides on the Rapti River. You'll also take time to immerse yourself in the unique culture of the Tharu people. On day four, you return to the capital for a final evening of leisure before departing on day five, offering a perfect, fast-paced nature escape.

Important Notes Description:

• Indian nationals do not require a visa for Nepal but MUST carry a valid Indian Passport or an original Voter ID card for immigration clearance (Aadhar cards and driving licenses are NOT accepted).
• Wildlife sightings, especially of tigers and leopards, are entirely dependent on luck, weather, and natural animal behavior; while guides try their best, sightings are never guaranteed.
• The drive between Kathmandu and Chitwan takes approximately 5 to 6 hours but can be longer depending on traffic and road conditions on the Prithvi Highway.
• Chitwan is a hot, subtropical environment. Safari activities are generally conducted in the early mornings and late afternoons when animals are most active and temperatures are cooler.
