This 10-day cultural odyssey seamlessly connects the iconic Golden Triangle with the spiritual heartland of Punjab. Starting in Delhi, you will uncover centuries of history spanning from the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to the grand arch of India Gate. A high-speed train sweeps you northwest to Amritsar for two days of profound heritage, featuring the Golden Temple and the Wagah Border. Returning to the capital, you hit the Yamuna Expressway to Agra to witness the world-renowned Taj Mahal. The journey continues westward through Fatehpur Sikri into Rajasthan, culminating in a royal exploration of Jaipur's majestic palaces and vibrant bazaars before concluding back in Delhi.

Cover Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, world's largest gateway, the historical Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhavan and Panch Mahal. Proceed towards Jaipur. After arriving, check into a city hotel. Return to hotel for staying overnight.

Day 9 of the Golden Triangle with Golden Temple Tour will take you to the world of peace and spirituality. Start the day by visiting the Golden Temple. The serene ambiance of the holy shrine energizes and motivates people towards a positive approach. After exploring the biggest shrine of Sikhs, head to the Jallianwala Bagh, the historic site where British General Michael Dyer fired bullets on the peaceful gathering of unarmed people. Visit the memorial house built in honor of the massacre victims. You can still observe the bullet marks on the wall of the garden. In the evening, visit the Wagah Border to witness the blustering parade by the soldiers from both India and Pakistan. The parade lasts for 45 minutes and ends up with lowering the flags of both the countries which is termed as 'Flag Retreat'. After the day's excursion, return to your hotel for a night stay.

End your journey with delicious breakfast at Amritsar. After this, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped to the Delhi airport to catch the flight to your final destination.

  • The Taj Mahal in Agra remains strictly closed to tourists on Fridays; the itinerary sequence will be adjusted accordingly if Day 6 falls on a Friday.
  • A strict dress code and head covering are mandatory inside the Golden Temple complex; visitors must remove footwear and wash their feet before entering. Tobacco and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the vicinity.
  • Seating at the Attari-Wagah Border is on a first-come, first-served basis; arriving well in advance is essential due to heavy visitor rush. Handbags and large backpacks are prohibited inside the stadium.
  • Express trains to and from Amritsar strictly adhere to departure timings; please ensure punctuality during station transfers.
