Description:
Pack comfortably with layered clothing, including light sweaters for the day and heavy woolens or jackets for chilly evenings, as Ooty’s weather can drop significantly. Bring comfortable walking shoes for navigating the sprawling botanical gardens, steep viewpoints, and tea estates. Carry essential sun protection, sunglasses, an umbrella for sudden showers, and personal medications, particularly motion sickness tablets for the winding mountain roads. The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR); while digital payments are widely accepted, carrying some cash is useful for small local purchases. A moderate level of physical fitness is recommended.
