Are you a Buddhist? Do you follow the great Buddha? Do you visit often in mountains to feel the spiritual calmness of monasteries? Well, today all for my travel friends, I am going to reveal anunbelievable fact about Buddha.
Tiger’s Nest Temple, Bhutan
The breathtaking side view, the sacred site for a perfect meditation, the extra ordinary architecture in the cliff side where you can hardly even feel to stand, the mysterious home of “Guru Padmasambhava”, a cultural icon of “Bhutan”, a nest where tiger rests, yes my traveler friends, I am talking about one and only the amazing spiritual wonder “Tiger’s Nest Temple” or “ParoTaktsang” or “TaktsangPalphug Monastery”.
After rising up almost hundreds straight and small stairs, surely you will be bit exhausted, thirsty and panicked. But trust me, when you will just look in front of yourself, you will be amazed for next five minutes. The view of real “Krung Thep (latterly named Bangkok)” will come at first in your sight. You will be certainly amazed to see, miles and miles of civilization at a glance. Different structures of Thai civilization of last few centuries lie in those miles.
Once, white pigeons scattered all over the sky and a big blue clear sky was above the head, peach trees were full of soothing pretty flowers, and the happy smile was all where in a happy land, history calls it “The Great Spiritual Land, Bhutan” and a blissful palace was made by those happy citizens, called “Punakha Dzong (the palace of great happiness or bliss)”. As a child, who holds his father’s hand from one side and mother’s hand from another side, like an eternal holy child of Bhutan, “Punakha Dzong” is situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers in the “Punakha–Wangdue” valley.
Untouched mountains, curved hills, fascinated valleys, God blessing rivers, smiley rural lives and devoted Buddhism, these are what resemble “Bhutan, The Land Of Thunder Dragon”. Since epic time this country is holding the peace in it’s heart through the magic touch of Buddhism. From far historical land of “Tibet”, the air of spirituality flows away through the thunder land of “Bhutan”. According to the world’s view the great land of “Bhutan” is famous for it’s “Gross Happiness”.
An adventurous weekend in the home of Great One-horned Rhinoceros, Kaziranga National Park, Assam

If you see, two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned Rhinoceroses are running beside you in the same ground, what will be your feelings? I know it sounds bit weird. But that’s the fact of “Kaziranga National Park”, a “World Heritage Site”. I am always good at wild-life photography. I had been to different forests around the world for this reason, even in “Kenya” and “Tanzania”. But at last my feet had been fond of one forest, which is the great “Kaziranga”. I still remember the first weekend when I visited “Kazirana” for first time.
In end of a very rainy month, a very dark cloudy day came in the peaceful land of “Tibet”. Tibetans were scattered here and there for finding a dry shelter. One day a gigantic thunder lightened the whole sky, and the great hero of Tibet “Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal” atlast found a new land, a new horizon to see the green valleys of peace and spirituality. And that was “The Land Of Thunder Dragon, Bhutan”. When he first entered in that new region he went through a village, which was “Laya”, in the “Gasa” District, where he met an indigenous people, called “Layap Tibal”, so called the highlander of “Bhutan”. Bhutanese people call them “Bjop”.
One morning, while seeing sunrise from a small Himalayan village, British explorer “Joseph Dalton Hooker” uttered “Lachung” as the “most picturesque village of Sikkim”. This small village gives a Nightingale calling to all mountain-lovers around the world. Well, I am going tell you a wonderful tale of that tiny magical beautiful village.
Does a flower intoxicate you? Well, someone has aptly said that they are the sweetest things God ever made. And who would not love such a fascinating creation. To refresh your senses to the hilt, travel to Valley of Flowers in the enchanting state of Uttaranchal.
The chirping of the birds, the flowers dipped in dew, colorful butterflies fluttering from flower to flower, refreshing air, lush greenery is enough to make you experience heaven on earth. The Valley of Flowers is a national park which boasts of more than 500 varieties of flowers and a variety of wildlife species.
