“Chang Beer Tower”, “Laughing Gas Balloon”, “Cool Street Bars”, “Loud Music”, “Entry Free Discos”, “Amazing street activities throughout the night”, “Cheap guest houses”, “Fried insects stores” are the main jewelleries of the “Backpacker’s Darling, Khaosan Road”. Situating 1 km from “Grand Palace” and “Wat Phra Kaew”, Khaosan Road is referred itself as a “Superstar Road” as well as the world famous “Backpacker’s Heaven” in “Asia”. “Khaosan” translates as “Milled Rice”, a reminder that in former times the street was a major “Bangkok’s” rice market. Some said, “it is the best place to disappear”.

In economic way Khaosan Road has its big role. It’s a center place in whole “Thailand”, from where you can book coaches, flights, combo package tours to anywhere in whole Thailand. Domestic packages and individuals tickets for “Koh-Tao”, “Koh- Pangan”, “Koh-Samui”, “Krabi”, “Pattaya”, “Koh- Chang”, “Hua-Hin”, “Chiang-mai” and international packages and individuals tickets for “Cambodia”, “Laos”, “Vietnam”, “Myanmar”, “Malaysia” are really worth to buy from here. There are several authentic agencies who sell those packages and tickets in very cheap price. They also arrange visas for many neighbour countries in a very easy way with a reasonable price. As a long time backpacker in Southeast Asia, I suggest to all my travel friends to come “Khaosan Road’ directly from airport and to stay few days in some budget hotel or hostel for deciding which will be your next destination by so many specialist travel agencies. While staying here, you can book many exotic one day tours with an affordable price. “Floating Market”, “Kanchanaburi”, “Ayuttahya-The Old Capital”, “Tiger Temple” are enlisted as the extra-ordinary day tours to know real “Thailand”. With a naughty smile I suggest you guys to enjoy the charming nightlife of “Khaosan Road” while staying here. Famous discos like “The Club”, “Gullivers”, “The Cliff”, “Lava” and famous loud bars like “Golf Bar”, “Khaosan Centre Bar” will take your heart away by their butterfly rhythm. Apart from discos and bars, you can shake your leg with awesome street activities like “B-Boy Dance Group”, “live violin and cello street concert”, “amazing street singers and performers”. One another thing you can get to see in Khaosan Road, which is fried insects like “Scorpions”, “Bugs” and many others and lots of backpackers are eating them as an adventure fooding. Timing between 3-6 am in the morning, is very interesting to see. So many speechless views will come in front of your eyes. The charming ramp walk of seductive “Lady-boy group”, most sensitive kiss between new made couples, rhythmic spinning of funny drunk guys will make your mouth wide open in one way. Another way in the first dawn, when you will see the local Thai guys to bent down their heads to the pure Buddhist monks and to give something food without touching them(specially girls), your mind will blow away with the purity of white pigeon. With the fresh sunrise when you will see the sweet kisses of evergreen couples with your first coffee sip of the day, trust me my friends, you will feel “ This is the best place on earth” for that certain moment. With all this features, there is another benefit to stay in Khaosan Road. It’s one of best and cheapest night market of “Bangkok”. So, shop as you like. Also if you are travelling in the weekend, then you can take a visit to the Asia’s largest market “Chatuchak”, which is very near from Khoasan Road. You can just grab a “Tuk-Tuk” to go there. And don’t dare to forget to have famous and unique “Coconut- Ice cream” while walking here in the day time.

Anyway, there is a sentence, “If you are telling a true story from core of your heart, then it will never finish”. Yes, as a backpacker my first love was Khaosan Road, so there will be always a never ending essay in my mind for this amazing road of amazing “Thailand”. In the very end, I prefer you the best timing to visit Khaosan Road, which is the “Songkran’s festival. (Thai New Year)”, 13th-15th April. Then you can see the best water fights among whole Thailand.
