Essential trip
information!
Pack heavy woolens, thermal innerwear, windproof jackets, gloves, and sturdy walking shoes, as temperatures at Sela Pass and Tawang drop significantly, often below freezing. Bring lightweight clothes for the warmer climates in Guwahati and Nameri. Carry essential moisturizers, lip balm, sunblock, and personal medications, including motion sickness tablets for the winding mountain roads. Carry sufficient cash, as ATMs and digital payment networks can be highly unreliable in remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh. Due to extreme high altitudes exceeding 13,000 feet, walk slowly, stay well-hydrated, and acclimatize properly. A moderate to high level of physical fitness is recommended.
