Itinerary

This epic 14-day royal odyssey covers the most celebrated heritage destinations of Northern India and Rajasthan. Beginning in Delhi with its blend of Mughal and colonial wonders, you will travel along the Yamuna Expressway to Agra to witness the world-famous Taj Mahal. Journey through the abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri to the Pink City of Jaipur. From there, venture into the painted havelis of Mandawa and the desert stronghold of Bikaner. The tour peaks in the golden sands of Jaisalmer with camel rides and desert camping, before taking you through the Blue City of Jodhpur, the marble-carved temples of Ranakpur, and the romantic lake city of Udaipur. After visiting the sacred oasis of Pushkar, the tour circles back to Delhi for your homeward journey.

After having breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Delhi. You visit popular attractions like Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate and Parliament House. In the afternoon, once you have your lunch, visit Old Delhi attractions including Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Gandhi memorial. In the evening, you will attend sound and light show. Overnight at hotel.

On day 3, after you have your breakfast, begin driving towards Mandawa, a small town of the Shekhavati region. Once you reach, check into your pre-booked hotel. After enjoying lunch, set out of your room to visit beautiful painted havelis and frescoes. Later, enjoy a guided tour of Mandawa Fort- a beautiful fort well-known for its paintings, most of which are a depiction of the life of Lord Krishna. Stay Overnight.

On day 4, after breakfast, hit the road to go to Bikaner. On arrival, complete the check- in formalities at your hotel. Afterwards, leave for sightseeing where you cover Junagadh Fort – constructed by Raja Rai Singh. During the early part of the 20th century, it was renamed as Old Fort. The other visit of the day is Bhand Sagar Temple – a Jain temple that was constructed during the 16th century. Stay overnight.

The day is booked for sightseeing in Jaisalmer for visiting the famous attractions of the city. The first visit of the day is Jaisalmer Fort – erected on the Tricuta hill, this fort is one of the largest forts in the world. Next in line is Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli and Patwon–Ki-Haveli – two of the most beautiful mansions, popular for their striking architecture. The evening is fixed for a camel ride at Sam Sand dunes. Stay overnight.

Begin driving towards Jodhpur, after breakfast on day 7. Check into your pre-booked hotel, once you arrive in Jodhpur. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing covering the Mehrangarh fort – one of the largest forts of the country, situated 400 feet above the city. The next visit is the Clock tower, also known as Ghanta Ghar that was constructed by Maharaja Sardar Singh. Stay overnight.

After breakfast on day 8, begin driving towards Udaipur. On the way, halt at Ranakpur Jain temple, an extremely important site for the followers of. After reaching Udaipur, complete the check –in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Spend the day at leisure, interacting with the locals, eating authentic Rajasthan food, shopping at the local market etc. Stay overnight.

Today, after breakfast, you enjoy sightseeing in Udaipur which includes Saheliyon Ki Bari – the courtyard (garden) for the maids of the Queen, Jagdish temple – a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, formerly known as the temple of Jagannath Rai. The last visit of the day is City Palace – built by Maharaja Udai Singh, it is situated amidst Lake Pichola. Stay overnight.

On day 10 of the tour, begin your drive to Pushkar, also known as the city of Brahma. Once you reach Pushkar, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or to indulge in leisure activities. Stay overnight
Embark on a half-day city tour including Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple – one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in India, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva. The next visit is Dargah of Moinuddin Chishti, a Sufi saint. After reaching Jaipur, check –in at your hotel. The day is free for leisure activities such as interacting with the locals, savoring lip-smacking food of Jaipur etc. Stay overnight.
The morning of day 12 is fixed for a short trip to Amber fort, situated on a hilltop. Enjoy an elephant ride here. Later, in the afternoon you continue with the sightseeing including City Palace – a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The other visits of the day are the Royal Observatory and Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli. The evening is free for shopping at the local bazaar. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, hit the road to go to Agra, en-route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the old deserted city built by Akbar of the Mughal Dynasty. This world heritage site contains various structures like Jama Masjid , Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. On reaching Agra, complete the check- in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the city atmosphere. Stay overnight.
Today is the last day of your tour, when you go for a morning visit to Taj Mahal – a white marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The other visits are Red Fort or Agra Fort – an architectural masterpiece and Itmad-ud-daula’s tomb. Later, begin driving to Delhi airport or railway station to board a flight or train to your onward destination.

Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are essential for exploring vast fort complexes and cobblestone bazaar streets. Bring essential sun protection (high-SPF sunscreen, wide-brimmed hat, polarized sunglasses) and personal medications. The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR); while digital payments and cards are widely accepted in major cities, carrying cash is necessary for rural markets, local tipping, and entry tickets.
