Essential trip
information!
Description:
Pack a comfortable, tropical wardrobe suited for Thailand’s warm and humid climate. Bring lightweight, breathable cottons, beachwear, and swimwear for your time in Pattaya. However, you MUST pack at least one set of modest clothing (long trousers/skirt and a shirt with sleeves) for the temple tours in Bangkok. Comfortable, easily removable slip-on shoes are highly recommended, as footwear must be taken off before entering any temple sanctuary. Bring high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, a waterproof bag for the Coral Island boat ride, and basic personal medications. The local currency is the Thai Baht (THB). While major malls and restaurants accept credit cards, it is essential to carry sufficient THB in cash for street food, local market shopping, tipping, and paying for optional water sports on the island.
