Can you imagine a flower as the designing inspiration of a building? – If yes, those are very few in number in the world and unusual incidents too. Well, let’s be familiar with such one – hymenocallis – a desert flower, which is the main source of changing the skyline of Dubai since last decade. Yes – the shape of hymenocallis motivated the construction of the world’s tallest skyscraper – 828 meters or 2716.5 feet high – Burj Khalifa.

Incorporating Islamic traditional patterns and modern sophistication, the construction of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, completed on 1st October 2009 since September 2004. This architectural excellence has become a new emblem of the United Arab Emirates, which has fulfilled its vision, determination, innovation and achievements. Implementing its abilities, resources and efficiency, Dubai has successfully built this architectural and engineering wonder that beckons to the world – and from a point on level 124 of the world’s tallest building, you will experience the visually stunning building and an incredible top-view of the earth from such a height. The design of this building allows each segment of it to have a wonderful panoramic view.

To experience the world’s view from top, an outdoor observation deck, named At the Top, opened on 5 January 2010 on the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa, which is the third highest observation deck in the world and the second highest outdoor observation deck in the world, at 452 meters or 1,483 feet. This observation deck also features the Behold Telescope, which allows visitors to view the surrounding landscape in real-time. It also allows viewing previously saved images of different times of day or under different weather conditions.
